Bozner is right at the heart of Bolzano, the capital of South Tyrol. Obstplatz Square, right on our doorstep, is one of the liveliest spots in the city. Every day, traders lay out their wares: Apples from Val Venosta/Vinschgau valley, cheese from Val Passiria/Passeiertal valley, flowers, herbs, souvenirs. You can enjoy this hustle and bustle from Bozner’s outdoor seating. In summer, tables and chairs fill the square under large umbrellas. Sit here, and you become both part of the spectacle and a spectator at the same time. Beer tastes particularly good when the sun shines on the old façades and the square is full of life.
The rest of the old town is just as close. Laubengasse Street, with its historic shops, is only a few steps away, and the cathedral is only a short walk.
